KitKat 4.4.2 Battery Percentage Display is not Correct.

I charge my device to 100%. After that I play games (or do some other work) continuously for 1 or 2 hours. After that I check my battery percentage. It still display 99%, although I have consumed a lot of battery. I continue to use phone. But battery remains at 99 or 98%. Then at some time, it suddenly drops to 40 or 50%. Then after sometime, it gives a message at 15%. Then after 2 or 3 minutes, the device is powered off due to battery.
My point is that battery is not creating problems. It is giving sufficient time (normally more than one day). But battery percentage display is not correct. KitKat 4.4.2 is not providing correct information about remaining battery....
Is there any solution for it?

My device is QMobile i7.

Welcome to Android Central! Try recalibrating the battery meter by using the phone until the battery automatically shuts off due to low battery. Then immediately plug it into the wall outlet and let it charge fully. Now use it again normally until it shuts off, and repeat this cycle 3 or 4 times. See if the meter is more accurate afterwards.
