Previously rooted phone won't update to 4.4.4

I rooted my phone, updated it to 4.4.2, now when I try to install update 4.4.4, it fails. I'm using a Galaxy S5.

One of the first steps the update does is check to see that it's running in the stock ROM and that the ROM isn't rooted. (Updating a non-stock phone could brick it.) If there are "leftovers" from the rooting, it won't update. The fastest fix is usually to reflash a stock older (in this case 4.4.2) ROM.

Just to add onto what Rukbat said returning to stock is fairly simple on a pc by using Odin software that's how I got the update on my old s5 when I was rooted.

Sent from my rooted Vzw LG G3 on a couch in Portland Oregon

It has been rooted any rooted phone is hard to get an update or upgrade, solutions are you have to unroot it, then update and root again. I hope it helps
