When connecting any Android Device to PC it will show both internal memory and external memory (SD Card), is it possible to hide or lock the internal memory to avoid deleting or messing with apps files?

The device we're using is a Chinese Android Tablet:

Name & Model: Eken E902
Build Number: astar_m900-eng 4.4.2 KVT49L 20160322 test-keys
Kernel Version: 3.4.39
Firmware is exdroid4.4.2_r2-a33-v2.1
O/S version is Kitkat 4.4.2

Welcome to Android Central! Unless the device is rooted, you can't affect app files anyway, because installed apps are in protected system directories. You could potentially mess with an app's data files on an unrooted device, though -- is that what you're worried about?

Thank you nice to be hear, and thanks for the reply. First the Tablets are rooted it's programmed to be used by Students in a school so to protect app's data files I have to hide or lock the Internal Memory and keep only SD Card active so when they connect it to PC they'll not be able to see the data files neither anybody else which he might steal our apps and programmed system. I hope I explained my doubts well and what I'm looking for.

I don't have any good answer for you, since I don't have rooting experience myself. Just curious, though -- why are rooted devices being given to students? Do they have to be rooted?
