compiling my own kernel
can i cross compile my own unmodified CyanogenMod kernel and then overwrite the kernel to my device??
i'm asking asking as there are no CyanogenMod port to my phone, a Samsung GT-S7560M, from Virgin Mobile Canada. there are unofficial ports from different people online, but they all admit they are still buggy. so, i was just thinking maybe just go with the most stable unofficial port, then replace it's kernel with my own compiled CyanogenMod kernel.
yes, i don't have to go through compiling my own kernel, but i'm doing this as a learning project for myself. so, i need to know how hard it is to do so (never having compiled a kernel before), before jumping in.
