Why doesn't my camera take snapshots when in flash mode?

Camera goofed up on Nexus 5

I upgraded my Nexus 5 with lollipop n guess what guys Camera doesn't takes a snapshot when in flash mode or even when u put ur phone on auto mode n try to take a pic in dark the flash turns on but never takes a snap.
Can anyone help me with a solution?

Sounds more like a rant to me... Sorry if I misunderstood, but can you be more specific in what you're actually trying to do... And what you want your phone to do in order to achieve it?

Just give the camera a couple of seconds to adjust the focus.

I just tried with the auto flash mode. Worked just fine. In fact, the resulting picture looks better than with KitKat.

I tried what you said but it didn't worked. The flash just turns on like a flashlight.

Can u help

Are you using the native Camera app that came with Lollipop? Or a third-party camera app?
