When doing a factory reset, I've noticed some data was still present afterwards. How would I clear and scrub all that out when doing another factory reset? My phone doesn't use the backup phone setting. I did do it within Android.

What kind of data?

If you did a proper factory reset (how, exactly, did you do it?), and did not reenter your Google account information after restart, there shouldn't be any personal data left on the device.

Data such as email address when signing into apps and folders.

I did a second FR Friday afternoon using the Recovery menu. I didn't enter any Google account until I looked it over and disabled unneeded apps.

Please go to Settings -> Backup & reset -> Factory data reset.

When this completes there should not be anything on your device other than what came from the factory. No additional apps, no personal data, no nothing.
