My phone just updated to 5.0.1 3 days ago. Now if I don't hit clear when something pops up on the notification bar, it sets another notification off every 5 minutes.
Prior to the update, email or whatever would make its notification sound and that was it. Now the programs make their sound, and if I don't clear it, the main notification sound goes off every 5 minutes. I don't need that when I'm driving, or sitting in an appointment. I can not turn the notification sound off, because the work I do, several companies have apps and offer me jobs that I have 2 minutes to accept or decline and it goes to the next person, so I need those notifications but their apps use the main notification sound, can not alter that.
Any way to make it go back to how it was prior to the upgrade and have just the program notifications and the notification bar stop sending 5 minute reminders? HELP!!!
