I have a couple of apps on my phone that automatically rotate to landscape and only work in landscape. One will rotate to either landscape orientation, the other is fixed to one way.
At times, one or both of those foul up the accelerometer so that some other apps (Kindle in particular) will no longer change their orientation as the phone is rotated - until I reboot my Sprint SPH-L720 (Not the T version).
Is there an app I can run that will reset or restart just the accelerometer and/or gyro when this happens? Give it a little digital thwack "Hey! Wake up and get back to work!"?
It just did it again. I have a recalibration app installed, the one where you tilt the phone to position a red circle inside a green square. When the accelerometer is acting up, that app does nothing, the circle won't move.
