Put xperiaz c6606 on lollipop 5.0.1 and no data (sms/mms)

Flashed lollipop onto Xperia z c6606 using the 6616 build 10.6.A.0.454 and it did well. GPS was way off (by about 1/2 a mile) and would get 0/12 satellites in view. Tried to go back to kitkat and nearly bricked it. So reflashed lollipop and now data doesnt work. WIFI is fine, but no messaging, SMS, MMS....I can live with the GPS, but canNOT find how to repair the data issue. Voice transmission is fine. Text can send and is received by the destination, but attempted replies to the Xperia read "messaging has stopped working". It's like it sees the attempted message but can't pick it up. Have tried three different messaging apps. Any insight is appreciated.
