Where have my widgets and shortcuts gone??

Hi

I have woken up this morning and all of my home screens have changed... widgets and app shortcuts all disappeared... how <urgh> annoying!!

What's happened?? Did Android roll-out an update last night, as yesterday everything was fine?

This is the second time this has happened in recent months. Previously I'd get a prompt allowing me to choose if I wanted to install an update but not these last two times. Can anyone help?

Is there anywhere on my phone I can see a history of the operating system updates applied by date order?

For info, I have a HTC M8 One. Software judo shows:
Android version: 6.0
HTC Sense version: 7.0
Software version: 6.13.206.5

On About > Software Updates, I have Update over Wi-Fi Only checked, and the Auto Download and Auto Update both unchecked.

I have an HTC m8 as well. I don't have the answers to your question. All I can say is that it doesn't surprise me. I have had stupid bugs and issues with my phone to. ******* garbage.

Maybe you can help me? Whenever I get a notification, my phone vibrates. I wanna shut off the vibration. I've tried everything.
