I have used both of these phones for several months now. The note 4 as a business phone, and the GS7 as my personal line. I have several contacts synced to 2 different Gmail accounts.
Recently I did a factory reset on the GS7. All the contacts have synced up fine on start up. Except one problem, every one of my contacts are stored in a group. The email with the most contacts synced the contacts with the appropriate group
on both devices. The contacts from my second email address do appear in my list, but the groups were stripped off when loading onto my GS7 after the reset. On the note 4 which was never wiped, they are still intact with the appropriate group.
I have well over 1,000 contacts who are no longer assigned to a group. Just trying to avoid having to assign them manually. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
