HTC 10 notification shade lag

My HTC 10 has been getting increasingly worse lag when pulling down the notification shade. It can take seconds sometimes. It's especially bad when I've just unlocked the phone, which is when I most use it which makes this very annoying. It responds fine when it's been pulled down, but getting there is a struggle. It doesn't happen 100% of the time, and the severity also changes, but overall it's been getting worse.

Everything else is very snappy, apps respond well and switching is a breeze. I have no SD card installed (yet) so that couldn't be causing any slowdowns.
