This means that my battery is getting drained by a weak cell signal correct?

That's definitely possible that cell signal is the culprit. I had the same issue as I get little to no reception in my office. Most days my battery would be below 40% by the time I left the office. I got AT&T to give me a free Microcell, and now I'm around 70% at the end of the day.

I've also read that if lte or 4g is weak, it constantly looks for a strong signal, you can set your phone maybe to just 3g or less?

Well the signal is definitely weak in that location. Hopefully I won't be there much longer but regardless, yes, my battery is usually burnt up faster than it should be there.

Post a screenshot of your battery stats. Or check yourself, the apps that consume a lot of battery should be "force stopped". I use clean master's "hibernate" feature to save my battery. It does a phenomenal job in saving my battery juice.

I understand what you're saying, however a new you you have extreme dose which still has all the apps at once and no save insane amounts of battery power which I absolutely love. The second the screen goes out.
