I’m glad to announce “” today an app for Android users.

Much better and smarter way of "Do not Disturb" on iPhone/iPad. Silencify lets you create smart rules that silences your phone.
- No more disturbance while you sleep (Be it night or day ).
- No more hastily reaching for ringing phone in pocket/purse during meetings/events.
- No embarrassing rings when you are at movie/doctor’s office.

Following are the features of Silencify and all for cost of $0.00 ( *FREE* ).

1. Silence / Quiet phone according to set schedule.
2. Silence phone for a particular meeting.
3. Airplane Mode - Saves a lot of battery when in scheduled silence.
4. Turn off Sync when scheduled silence is on - Improves Battery Life.
5. Turn off Bluetooth when scheduled silence is on - Improves Battery Life.
6. Turn off Wi-Fi when scheduled silence is on.
7. Switch in preferences for "Master Silence".
8. Switch in preferences to immediately silence device.
9. "Always Accept" (Whitelist) list of contacts/phone numbers to ring the phone even when its in silence.
10. "Always Reject" (Blacklist) list of contacts/phone numbers to always silence the phone from those numbers.
11. Backup of application data.

No need of constantly swiping NFC tags (for NFC users), “” does it as per set rules/schedules.

Known Issues:

Airplane Toggle does not work with android 4.2. I'm working towards finding the fix. Sorry for the inconvenience. However you can take full advantage of other features till then.

On request from a user have added an Emergency Calling feature.

This lets an incoming call ring in case the same number calls you certain number of times in certain number of minutes. Obviously all blacklist numbers are ignored.

This can be configured from settings inside the app.

Also fixed some app crashes on HTC devices.

Added sliding menu when hardware menu button is clicked. This is just in initial stages and one more step closer to a cool UI I have envisioned.

Update: Emergency calling caused crashes on few devices. I have updated fix for this.

1. Battery issues due to month change boundary condition fixed.
2. Location update frequency reduced as on few ROMS it was taking up battery.

Is the whitelist for calls only or does it whitelist texts as well?

Although Sush! is a awesome app in its own perspective, with Silencify you can set schedules, So you don't have to put your phone on silent manually (everyday while sleeping, or for some class/lecture/appointment), its Automatic, also Silencify takes care of meetings, that is you just add a meeting keyword and Silencify would take care of silencing the phone automatically for you while you are at meeting, and turning it back on when meeting is over. Also by location, so if you are at movie no need to silence your phone every time, just add the movie location and next time it would silence it if you are at same theater.

Silencify saves your time to manually silence your phone every time you would want it to be.
