Piper is brought to you by the company who produce the widely used app ScanToPDF Mobile

If you have a vulnerable relative, friend or neighbour that is at home alone during the day or is living independently, then this application can provide you with the peace of mind that they are safe.

✔ Simple graphical interface making it easy to understand and to use
✔ Automated fully configurable SMS messages and emails
✔ Uses "sleep" and "gone out" modes
✔ Interval can be easily set for different requirements
✔ Low battery detection and alert

Panic buttons work well if the person is conscious and mobile but if he/she has collapsed, is unconscious or is too confused to raise the alarm then it may be some time before anyone is aware of the problem. Piper addresses this situation and is designed for people at risk of strokes, heart attacks, epilepsy, mild dementia, learning difficulties, depression, etc.

It is incredibly simple to use by the person being monitored, all they need to do is touch the cat on the screen!
You specify an appropriate interval between touches ? for example 1 hour, 2 hours, 30 minutes, etc. ? and if the cat has not been touched in that time a bell is rung to remind the person to touch the cat. If, after the bell has rung, the cat has still not been touched then a text and/or email will be sent alerting you and up to two other contacts, to a potential problem.

There is a setting to stop monitoring during the night and also simple buttons to allow the person to indicate that they are going out or having a daytime sleep.
Ideally the phone will be in an accessible place with the phone charger constantly connected. This will ensure that the phone battery doesn?t run out. However the application will detect if the battery is getting low and send you a text.

We also provide a sad face option which allows the person being cared for a very easy way to call you if they need to speak to you.
