Official Dropbox app is in the Market.
If you don't use Dropbox it's probably not of interest LOL.
Topic should have been in apps forum but I goofed ;-) - 05-04-2010, 10:28 PM #4
I'm new to Android - that's why I've never heard of it.
Just found the article, though: http://www.androidcentral.com/androi...p-dropbox-beta

If anyone else is looking to join, here is another referral.
Dropbox is a very slick cloud app. I use SkyDrive for big backups due to the free space MS offers, but I use Dropbox for everything else. It is very handy to move files around and very easy to use for posting to the web (easy url creation).
This and the Mint App are two very big reasons I switched to Android. - 05-04-2010, 10:52 PM #7

Dropbox is a web service to simplify copying files between PCs and smartphones. On your PC, just drag-and-drop files into your dropbox folder. You can then access them from any other web-connected PC or smartphone at any time.
You get 2GB of storage space for free or 2.25GB if you use a referral link like mine:

The Android intro tutorial lists one interesting feature:
Launch your phone’s built-in camera
while running Dropbox and your
photos and videos will upload to your
Dropbox instantly. When you use this
feature together with Dropbox shared
folders, these files are synced to your
friends’ and family’s computers
instantly!
I expect this is going to be many people's most popular use of Dropbox. - 05-05-2010, 04:43 PM

Also, is the new official version better than the beta version?
