Stream video android to iPad.
Hi,
Is it possible to stream video from my android phone ( htc desire 2.2) to an iPad 2 over my home network.
I have tried Double Twist AirPlay but it doesn't work. It only works with apple tv as far as I can figure out.
I have searched and searched for the answer to this and have my doubts it's possible without jail breaking the iPad, don't really fancy that.
Thanks to anyone who taks time to answer. - 01-07-2012, 10:10 AM

Re: Stream video android to iPad.
Hi liamd77,
It is possible over wifi. On Android use iMediaShare and on iPad use MLPayer (lite),
It will play mp3 music and and mp4 video, but not wma and others.
For that you need MediaConnect and Fllexplayer ( not free). Works better and will play music in background.
In any case you will need external wifi for this so if you are on the road, carry a portable wifi of some sort.
Good luck and check out those cheap 32gb sd cards;-) - 04-05-2013, 09:34 AM #5
