I teach trumpet lessons and would like an app that helps me track my studnets' payments and income for tax purposes. does anyone know of anything that does this?

One option you have is to install Google docs app (free) and enter the data into a spreadsheet. You can access the same spreadsheet from your phone as well as tablet and computer. Google docs tracks versions so if you made a mistake you can revert to older version.
