I concur! It's the only calendar app I've ever used with my Incredible and see no reason to switch.

I just downloaded it and used it and although it's nice, I don't see an option for meeting invites? The calendar that comes with the Incredible has the meeting invite option as you create a calendar event.

Awesome.
I've never understood why calendars/agendas get so little attention.
Most who originally got a Pda/Phone was because they wanted an Organizer.
Thanks for the tip. - 06-18-2010, 11:13 AM #10

It will still synch with your Outlook. Once you select the Google synch, you can view all of the other calendars you have (Oulook, Google, Exchange, etc). They only tell you that because it needs to connect with the Google one to allow you to see the rest. In the options, you can filter all of the other calendars out that you do not need by unchecking them.
This app does not replace the built in one, it reads from the same calendar file that is on your phone currently. If you add an appointment in Jorte and then open your built in calendar that came with your phone, you'll see that entry. It's not really a "synch".
EDIT: Once you install Jorte and tell it to synch with Google, while in the app press your Menu button then select Options. In options, click on "Settings". In settings, scroll down to "Default Calendar" and select your PC Synch one. That will ensure that every entry you make goes into that calendar without having to constantly select it.
Hope that makes sense.Last edited by dmcman73; 06-18-2010 at 11:53 AM.

is there any way to put in an event that runs consecutive days with out doing each day separately?

When viewing (or entering) an appointment, click on Details Open, and there's a repeat option.
I'll have to work with this some to see, but I can already tell it's no where close to Datebk 6 (or even Datebk 3, for that matter). - 06-18-2010, 10:07 PM #15

Event details will show when you tap on calendar entry then tap on the abbreviated box that shows up. It will expand and give you everything you entered.
I have been using Jorte since almost launch. It does everything I need and with the widget on my home screen I get the week at a glance at all times.-----------------------------------------------

Doesn't display US holidays.
If it good sync with toodledo.com like Got To Do does it would be perfect. - 06-19-2010, 06:33 AM

■How to configure holidays
Opening window [Menu]-[Option]-[Acquisition And Delete Holidays], select Japan and [Aquisition] button, then start to download holiday data. (from Google Calender by way of internet)
* At this time, holidays are shown in Google Calender on the web. It may causes confusion, so it is under consideration to fix it. - 06-19-2010, 08:43 AM #22

One thing I cant seem to do is make change the time when trying to creat an event in Jorte. I cant change the "1" or "2" in the 12:00 time to be able to change it to say 3:30. Anyone else have that problem ?. ( I am using a EVO)
- 06-23-2010, 10:17 PM #24
I can change the "1" to "0" and back to "1," which are the only valid values. I have no problem changing the "2" to anything that's a valid time. I can't set it to "00" or "13", but "09" and "11" are fine.
FYI, there's an update to Jorte today that adds more calendar styles. In playing around with it, I've found more things to like. Definitely the best I've found so far for Android, if not the equal of Datebk6 on the PalmOS.PLEASE, when asking for help provide as much information as possible. Otherwise, it's like calling your doctor and saying "My head hurts." I'm happy with "Cal Widget". That's the best I've seen so far. All the customizations are nice.
