Default Video on Chrome for Jelly Bean

I do not like the way Chrome handles web video in Jelly Bean. Sometimes it won't even play the video saying Flash Player is required, yet those same videos play on iOS just fine. Why won't Chrome play the HTML5 version of the video?
I tried Dolphin and the iPhone user agent worked but felt very half-baked. Besides, I don't like the idea of telling my Nexus to masquerade as an iPhone. Opera and Firefox were just miserable.
After trying out all these browsers, it's clear that Chrome is the top dog. The only thing is I can't enjoy the same experience I had under the stock browser in ICS.

I specifically like to watch videos from ESPN, TWiT, The Verge, and CNET. Thankfully, Android Central relies on YouTube.

Am I missing something here? I'm hoping there is an easy fix and that I'm just being a complete n00b here.

    Thanks

I've noticed the same thing...Chrome on my iPad will serve up the HTML5 version, but on my GS3 Chrome gives the Flash error.

They need to fix this. I'm hoping for an update.
