Handcent Talk Help
Hello all!
I just switched from the iPhone a couple weeks ago and been using Go SMS on my Galaxy S3. Today, I stumbled upon Handcent's feature: Handcent Talk. I decided to give it a try since it'll pretty much emulate one of the features I miss from the iPhone, iMessage. The problem is, I can't get Handcent Talk to bind to my phone number. I tried multiple times, constantly getting an error message, and now I get no error messages at all (just goes through the timer while waiting for the authorization code to come in which never does). I tried my Google Voice number for kicks and that went through no problem (didn't complete the binding process).
So, is this an issue with Verizon, my SMS settings that I don't know about, Norton Mobile Security (since I know it has SMS interception for Anti-Theft), or what? Has anyone experienced this issue and manage to get it to work (aside from it just working the second or third try)?

Re: Handcent Talk Help
I managed to fix the issue, in a sense. In case anyone comes across this problem in the future, what I think might be the issue is how you set up the account. I set mine Handcent online account up initially on my desktop, and when I tried to connect it to my phone, I came across the issues listed. Essentially, it wasn't authorized for HC Talk properly it seems. I set up a second, new account through the mobile browser and immediately connected it to my phone, and was able to get it to connect. I verified it as well by doing the same on my girlfriend's phone.
