Updated Facebook vs. Emoji

Does anyone know how to get the new Emoji in the updated Facebook app? In the messaging section, I hit the "+" but all I get are options to attach pics.

It was working for me and all of sudden it stop working :/ not sure what Facebook did? But it was working and now nothing

Just type emoticons and they become emojis...I think it works like that LOL.

Yes that's possible but you could also access a menu of all different kinds lol

I also have a question. I used to have the button to switch between top news and chron order on the top right. See 1st pic from a friend. Notice button in top right. Every one but me seems to have that button.

Now, it switched to "find people" button and isn't in chronological order any more. It's like it's stuck on top news. No one else I know seems to have the same issue. I'm on the most current version, have searched settings, tried contacting FB help, tried Google, other forums, nothing.... HALP!
