I was looking on the play store for a specific show (smallville) cause I wanted to buy it and watch it on my nexus 7 but its not on the play store so I tried to find other apps on the play store to by TV shows but I can't find any. Is there any other apps besides play store to buy TV shows and movies?

I think you'll find you'll have to find some workarounds (alternate browsers and Flash) to stream free Amazon Prime Videos to a non-Fire device.
I think you could purchase videos from Amazon and authorize your device and use either a 3rd party video player or the Amazon video player (not sure about this)

You can also buy movies through Ultraviolet and play them on Android devices through Flixter. You can even download them for disconnected viewing.

From what I understand, you can purchase and download video from Amazon, but the Prime Instant Video streaming is only avaiable for Kindle Fire and the iPod.

Edit: Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
