Android app look

I'm from iOS and there are a couple things that will bring Android to the next level of competitiveness.
Android apps need to move onto jelly bean look. Currently it's all over and give me impression of unorganized.
Secondly many apps have black background. While that helps saving battery life, it looks not as hip as colored look. Frankly it reminds me of DOS days; aka outdated look.
