Default app to sync currently playing song to or from phone

Does anyone know of an app that syncs your currently playing song to or from your phone? By this I mean you're out and about listening to a song on your phone, and when you return to your computer you hit a button and playback continues on your computer right from where you left off. Or the reverse where you're listening to a song on your computer and shift it to your phone as you head out the door.

I doubt this currently exists but it seems like something that could be implemented with the new cloud messaging service in 2.2. It seems like you would need a plugin for the music player on your computer, but basically I'm imaging a system where the touch of a button pauses playback on the current device, transmits the file name and position to the corresponding device, and then starts playback.

Am I dreaming too big here?

If I ever get into creating apps I will keep this in mind. Actually sounds near even though most people don't have a need for it

Not sure if using something like Spotify would allow this if you have the premium version (required for Android phone use). Naturally you would have to be using the Spotify eco system for your PC etc music too. I suppose taking a moment to look at what is playing on your phone and tap into your pc music app and hit play is very old school .
