Hot Spot Needed

I have a stock Verizon Galaxy S3 (no root) and would like your recommendation for a hotspot app that will work with my ICS OS and hopefully will work with the future upgrade to JB.

I had FoxFi installed but it does not seem to work well since upgrade to ICS and latest update indicated there are some new limitations on the free version.

root and use wifi tether

I really don't see any benefit to rooting, it does not get me anything that I have without rooting. There are hotspot apps that work without root.

You can try foxfi, but it is spotty on ics and does not work on jb. If you want reliable tether, there is an advantage to rooting. You need to be rooted for wifi tether
