What's up with GO Popup Themes Not Working?

So frustrated. Running latest GO SMS on JB 4.1.1. Works great. However, I don't like the fact that the notification pop-up stays on my Lockscreen until I unlock and clear it. This is with the pop-up type set to "Use The normal popup" However, if you set it to "Use the Go Popup" the pop-up clears itself from the lockscreen after it displays for a few seconds and you do nothing. But the theme is the default goofy looking theme. So if you go into settings > themes > Go Popup > More Themes, any of the themes I install don't show up as Installed Go Popup themese! Includes Thanks theme and W7 theme. They only show up as GO SMS themes and they don't theme the popup if you have the Go Popup selected as the popup time.

Interestingly, the 3 "Featured Themes" for Go Popup 2 Thanksgiving and 1 Halloween all work.

It seems Go Dev Team is not distinguising Go SMS only themes from themes that work with Go Popup?
