Startup Help for new guy to Android app development
Hi everyone,
My name is Jason and I started looking into making a new app in April of this year. Long story short, I don't know how to develop so had to get help from others smarter than me and now have a new app on GooglePlay. BUT, now that its there I don't know how to get any real traction/growth? We launched on Nov 11, and have had downloads from 25 countries, I know that sounds great, but the retention rate is low; 116 active from 275 total downloads. I started a twitter account but that doesn't seem to work too well. I opened an account on FB and have about 3,500 likes but not very many downloads from that. I have tried posting news here and there but no takers to write article or help push.
Anyway, I realize this might be akin to a question like: "how do I lose weight"; i.e. a bunch of answers but nothing guaranteed. Really though, I would appreciate any help or suggestions you can provide.
Thanks in advance.
