Re: App to pull down the notification bar?
If you use a different launcher, such as Nova Launcher, you can set up gestures like swiping down for notifications. I have my GS3 set up like this. I swipe down for notifications, I swipe up for the app drawer. I do not know of a way to do that using the stock TouchWiz launcher though. Hope this helps.

Re: App to pull down the notification bar?
thanks for the info. I thought About that Also but I like original stock ICS launcher for now.
On MY old phone with GB, you would press the settings button and there you would have a button that says "Show notification".
ThatS what I wish ICS would have.
And hope I find a app/ icon before I drop my phone trying to reach the notification bar

Re: App to pull down the notification bar?
This is exactly how I have Nova set up on my S3. You can swipe on any location on your home screen to invoke these special actions.
I have heavily customized my Nova settings, but I believe you can set it up to look close to stock TouchWiz. Even with the custom launcher, you still keep all the functionality of TW.

Re: App to pull down the notification bar?
Think I found one. Search for "Status Bar Expander" in the Play Store. Then just add a shortcut to your homescreen.

Re: App to pull down the notification bar?
The free version of Nova launcher has a built in icon that will do this. (For gestures, you need the paid version.)
