I'm also having issues connecting to Netflix on my Android tablet and my laptop.
EDIT: It looks like the Netflix streaming issues are actually related to an issue with Amazon's cloud services, according to this article on The Verge: [Only registered and activated users can see links. Click Here To Register...]
