WidgetLocker Help: App icons without a textbox on the lockscreen?

Hello,

I have recently gotten a new phone and I have been experimenting with the widgetlocker and I would like to put the messenger app onto my lockscreen without any text beneath it; however, when I try to leave the text part blank it leaves me a small black textbox still underneath it such as the one in the picture: LOCKSCREEN Picture

Is there anyway to have it so there is no textbox? Thank you for your time.
