How to access external SDcard on Skydrive application?

I'm having trouble figuring out how to upload any content from my external SDcard to Microsoft Skydrive. Has anyone been able to do this? Microsoft forums and such say it can be done now, but when I hit upload in the app, it doesn't provide any options to navigate to my external SDcard. It only shows the internal SDcard (built-in storage). On SGS3 Verizon.
