Official Twitter Client
Hello,
I am wanting to know if there's a way to have the official twitter client only check for new tweets say once per hour.
I have set under "sync settings" my sync interval to 1 hour but the tweets seem to come in real-time. Is there a way to make the official twitter client for android do this?
I am running it on Droid Razr Maxx HD, android 4.1.1
Thanks,

Re: Official Twitter Client
Those are push notifications. The sync interval that you're looking at means how often the app pulls in new tweets in the background. Meaning if you open up the app, the app already displays all tweets. The notifications you're seeing are probably mentions or DMs.

Re: Official Twitter Client
Yup, what you are configuring is the time the app pulls new tweets to your timeline but not notifications. As far as I know only third party Twitter apps do what you want to do.
