It took a very long time to download and used a lot of my allowed bytes but the software is very good and worth the trouble. If there was a way to download direct to a p.c. and then transfer to the phone, that would be good.

Use google maps at work all the time, will give it a try tomorrow. Like that it stores the maps on your phone.

I think this is a great alternative GPS navigator for those that do not have a data plan. I am using the trial on my old Motorola Droid. It turns my old phone into a very useful dedicated GPS.
