Since the owner's site is in Japanese, I am having a hard time figuring out something with the "S2 Calendar Widget"

According to the screenshot shown on Appbrain on the right, when you click the widget, it can take you to a Calendar "Tab", which works fine.. but I cannot get my calendar tab configured to show any text like shown in the picture. It's only colors. Not only that but it doesn't appear to be interactive at all, just a pretty picture of the month , with colored blocks.
1) Can the current version show text? Or was that removed for some reason?
2) Is the calendar tab supposed to do something when you click a date (such as go to the individual agenda for the day or something)
Any help would be appreciated.. I've not found a calendar app I like and I've tried just about all of them. I really wish Iambic Agendus would get off their butts and take the plunge to android already.
