IM and SMS in one app?

I have searched the market and the forums, and I can't find what I want. Is there an existing app out there that handles both SMS (in/out) and IM in the same app? I realize that most people don't want to accidentally send an SMS if they can IM instead, but I think it would be awesome to go to one app to read/respond to SMS, and in the same app I can IM using gtalk and all the others. Am I just weird? All the apps I can find are either or, not both.
