Instagram just released a new application called "hyperlapse". I mean, instagram is running on both ios and android. So why would they release at ios first? I mean cant they wait for the android version of it to be finished before releasing it?

What are your thoughts about it.

There's "bias," and then there's working within the constraints of current APIs.

From the Wired piece on Hyperlapse:

Instagram hopes to develop an Android version soon, but that will require changes to the camera and gyroscope APIs on Android phones.)
