I've updated the installed facebook application. I recall from seeing a description of the latest update that it was supposed to have a chat feature. I was wondering how to add this to the Epic homescreen. When press on a blank home screen and select the option to add Android Widgets, Facebook is listed, but it's just a widget that allows me to post things. Is the chat feature something specific only to Android 2.2 and up?

I too had this problem, couldn't get rid of a conversation even after attempting to close it. But I did find a fix. Just went into applications and force closed facebook, also deleted cache and data. Then opened facebook back up and it was fixed.

That worked for me as well. Force close it. I didnt clear cache or data. Thats kind of annoying that you have to force close it. Guess ill have to get tasker to kill it and reopen it every hour or so.Samsung Galaxy Nexus & Nexus 7 - Bootloader Unlocked / Rooted
