i prefer tweetdeck for usage. It's just nice having one feed to combine both. I prefer the way seesmic looks though. Just hate having to view the feeds individually. If i wanted it that way i would use two apps. Their widgets are also better than tweetdecks.

I use both, but prefer Tweetdeck because of the aggregation of everything into one stream.
I love the look of Tweetdeck as well, but that's a personal preference. I agree with the above poster about the widgets, I wish Tweetdeck's were better.Thanked by: - 03-15-2011, 10:10 AM #4
I prefer TweetDesk's aggregated view. I just wish it have FB Pages stream and posting.

The only thing I use the official for is when i need to send something to many people at the same time. the "@" autoload name thingy doesn't work in tweetdeck. If they turned that business on it would be the only twitter app on my phone!

I prefer Seesmic. The UI is more pleasing to my eye. I do agree that I would prefer the way Tweetdeck aggregates FB, Twitter and even 4SQ.
Now that Seesmic has added FB, I am hoping that they will eventually combine the streams. To accomplish that, I use Launcherpro Friend's widget in conjunction with Seesmic. - 03-16-2011, 06:38 PM #10
I've used both.. and I prefer Twitdroyd over Seesmic and Tweetdeck. I'm not a big fan of having all the FB and 4[] integration, I just want a solid twitter app that's easy to use. The only app that I use that I actually like having all of my social networks in one place is social scope on my BlackBerry. (wish it would drop for Android)

Re: Tweetdeck Vs Seesmic
Mine force closes quite often too.
There's many things about the official twitter app that I like but I like being able to post certain things to both twitter AND Facebook which Tweetdeck allows. I also prefer the usage of multiple accounts for twitter as just another list that you can scroll left or right to get to.
I've also used Seesmic Ping wich allows you to post pictures to Facebook as an actual picture on the timeline (as opposed to Tweetdeck which posts as a link to twitpic, yfrog ect...)
If I could get an app that combined the features of the Twitter App with the multiple account/platform features of Tweetdeck and the picture/video posting capabilities of Seesmic Ping I would be a happy boy.
Considering that Twitter actually purchased Tweetdeck is there any chance that they will ever update it? or did they solely purchase it to get rid of the competition? - 03-03-2012, 09:57 PM #16
