The facebook app is fine, just limited. Its fine for quick status updates. Events/messages you have to go to m.facebook.com for.

I believe it only notifies you of new Event Invites and Friend Requests. Even that is hit or miss though.

Check out an app called bloo
Its free in the market. Not great, but I find it better than the stock app-When the rich wage war, it's the poor who die. - 02-19-2010, 09:38 PM #10

I'm just wondering why the app is not being updated..
Heck, it still doesn't even have Facebook chat. - 02-22-2010, 12:08 PM #14
It always bugged that the FB app didn't have messaging. touch.facebook.com as a bookmark works fine.

So I noticed on the stock FB App, when I tried sharing a photo to FB and add a comment it posted to my fb mobile uploads, not my wall. How do I get it to post to my current wall for everyone to see? Would that require touch.facebook.com? Also is it confirmed how to do chat functionality within fb?
