Default App for attaching files to MMS

I'm not having any luck trying to attach MP3 and Photos from my file manager apps.

I've tried Astro File Manager, ES File Explorer, and Root Explorer.
If I try to send a photo, mp3, etc using Root Explorer I get an error message that says "Unable to attach media". If I try Astro, it will not even give me the option to send as a MMS.
I was hoping that since I was rooted this would not be an issue.

Is anyone having any luck sending files from their SDcard as MMS?
    Is there a work around?

    Thanks

Not the way you probably want to do it, but use your gmail built into your phone. It will let you attach almost any file type.

There is an app called Tmail. It allows you to send any kind of file from your SDcard with an MMS message.

    Here is the link

But it is only limited to the MMS size which is 300KB, too small.
