We are pleased to announce that the Babbleville app is now available in the Android Market:

Babbleville is a new platform that allows users to easily create and manage their own message boards via their phone. We call these message boards "villes". If you have a local group like a cycling club, fantasy football group, volunteer organization, or social club, you can create a message board for your members using the Babbleville app in minutes. All members can post and reply to threaded messages just like your traditional message board. These villes are location based so that any user who are physically near the set location will automatically see the ville.

Outside of the villes, you can also post random Twitter-like messages that are also tagged to a location. We call these messages "babbles". Any other user near the location of the original post will also see the message and reply. This is different from Twitter where you have to follow someone before you can discover the message. This is useful at a sports game, concert, convention, or university where you have an incentive to talk to people you may not already know.

You can download the app directly from the Android Market here:

Please give us your feedback. We'd love to hear from you.

Thanks!
