I don't know where this should go in the forum, so I'm placing it here. I wanted to find out where the GetJar downloads actually go on the phone...has anyone been able to locate this?

For example, if I wanted to download an apk that is 20MB or so, then uninstall it, I don't need it taking up room on the phone. I can't find any folder/file created on the SD card, so this must mean that it is being stored in the internal memory. I can't find any documentation of where this would be.

No, and it surprises me that others haven't had any concerns about it. I can't find anything on the Internet about it either. There has to be a temp or cache folder somewhere.

I just stumbled on this post (yeah, I know it's a bit old) as I was collecting a bunch of getjar freebies. If you download and then cancel the install, the .apk files are left in /mnt/sdcard/getjar/cache
