changing gmail on phone

Is it possible to switch main, Gmail emails without having to restore factory settings and open another account?


If not, no problem, I am rooted and will just flash another ROM. I was going to anyway.


Then I have another question, if you could answer whether I need to do this or not. If I need to use another email, I will have to download each app from the market won't I.

Even if I backup on Astro or another app, is there a way to bring it over to my new Gmail ID. ...or like I would import a contact file into email. Can a list of apps be exported like to a .csv, .*** type file, then imported into an account, or app which then would restore them?

The Market now support multiple accounts. I don't think you can port apps over so you'll have to download apps again. paid apps you'll have to paid again.
