Problems deleting Lock Me widget

I've deleted the widget but it's left a hole on my live wallpaper with an error message. I've tried restarting the phone but the flaw remains.

Any ideas?

did you actually delete the widget or just uninstall it?

If it's a "dead" widget, you should be able to just long touch, drag to the remove button

I uninstalled it through Settings; attempts to drag and drop the widget icon into the trash were unsuccessful both before and after uninstalling.

hmmph. I've never seen anything refuse to drag.

try a battery pull?

Try reinstalling it, trash the widget and then remove the app again. I'd report the problem to the developer.

The battery pull didn't work.

The icon drags to the trash can but reappears in its old location when dropped.

Reinstalling and trashing the widget resulted in an extra copy of the error message. The original eventually vanished but the extra remains.

Guess that leaves contacting the developer.
