Is there a video player that can read the aspect ratio of a video and play it correctly?

All videos played by the standard video player are played at the exact resolution the video is saved at. so 720X480 plays at 720X480. That works great for personally encoded videos.

However, and iTunes movies are encoded with a built in stretch. They are encoded to play at 640X360 or 720X360, but with an aspect ratio of 2.4:1. This means that iTunes automatically plays them at 864X360, stretching the video to be the correct aspect ratio.

If you play these on an android player, they play at the 640X360 or 720X360 instead of stretching. I've used Act1, Mixzing, Doubletwist and several other high rated players. NONE of them stretch, but simply play straight. (Yes, some have a zoom function, but those are set by the person, not read by the app straight from the video. so they never get the full 2.4 stretch.)

Found a player, Vplayer, which actually reads the video aspect ratio encoded into the videos and stretches them back to the correct dimensions!

Problem is it's nowhere near as advanced as Act1, which is my preferred player. But at least5 this one should be compatible with my iTunes movie collection.
