I have come to realize the only reason I really like my non-stock launcher is because of the option to create folders on the home screen. What is the best app which I could use to accomplish this and return to my stock launcher?

https://market.android.com/details?id=com.abcOrganizer - My personal favorite is Folder Organizer. You can split applications into several and multiple folders and choose your own icon for each one.

Simi folder works well. It's been a while since I last used it. Give it a try and see what you think.

If you're looking for a launcher replacement, ADW EX has an update that allows drag over apps to create a folder.

Just wait until ICS hits, the folders are so much better than they were on GB.

    AND much quicker to use.

Op may not have a device that will be upgraded to ICS.

If you want to try a new launcher ADW EX has a feature that allows you to drag apps over each other to create the app.

Agreed, but you have to use a Launcher like Nova so that you can back them up.

Go Launcher Ex does it pretty well too. Drag and drop. Easy

I was using GL, but it seemed a bit laggy. I have actually gone completely default. I didn't realize my Photon allows me to categorize my apps, then link to that category from the desktop (essentially a folder).
