Is there a messaging app where you can restrict your contacts more? I find it annoying in HTC messaging or google+ messaging that when I type in names of who I want to text, it brings in all contacts (like, for HTC in brings in Facebook friends and others) (and in google+, it looks like it brings every name on the planet).

When texting, I just want to, you know, text the people that are in my contacts list, and not wade through hundreds of names.

PS< if there is a way to set it to just your contacts in HTC's messaging app, I'm all eyes and ears on how....

Have you tried GO SMS?

The only way I know how is to open the address book, Menu, View, then uncheck the accounts you do not want to show up in your HTC address book.
