I guess your prerequisite is it has to be free? Because you can buy additional storage from dropbox if you need to.

You should try Box. Android users get 50 gb for a limited time. Just doesn't have a free desktop client.

You should definitely try Box. True, it has no desktop client but you can easily map it as a network drive and save files directly to it.

Box with its 50G is a must. SkyDrive has 25G. There is no official app for the latter, but some other apps that can use it (FolderSync, for example).

Neither has a desktop app, but you could use something like Gladinet to map them all neatly in one application.

sugarsync is by far the best, and I've used them all.

The downside with Box is it limits the file size with the free account. I don't remember exact size limit, but I've had it reject uploads a few times because of this.

The free 50 gigs of storage that I have with Box is nice but it limits files to a size of 100 megs.

Ubuntu One gives 5GB free, with cross-platform apps. Amazon gives 5GB free, but doesn't have a cloud drive app outside of music.

They're smaller than some of the others mentioned, but they're options also

Ubuntu one is good too. You only get 5 gb free, but extra storage is cheap. I think it's only $2.99/month for 25 gb.
