PlainText for Android?

I use an app called PlainText on my old iPod Touch. It uses a simple text file/folder tree structure to view notes/outlines. Syncs with DropBox. Dead simple.

Is there anything like it for Android?

I have tried Epistle, but it has no folder support. There are many other notes apps but usually they use tags instead of folders (Evernote) or don't support DropBox.

Incidentally, I'm looking for a similar application for Windows. I currently use a proprietary outliner app, but want to have my notes available everywhere.

I've been using PlainText as well and am searching for an Android alternative. I've heard of SimpleNote and some android apps made for it but it is not the same experience as PlainText.

For Windows, I use ActionOutline and save the files in my Dropbox so I can access them on my other computers. I use the lite version which is free but the pro version $40.

I use NoteEverything, Extensive Notes & Color Notes with DropSync
and sync it all to DropBox, works great.

Hit my DropBox link in my signature if you want a free DropBox account

Hope that helps
